Best Power Banks in India

Traveling with your phone can be quite tiresome, especially since all of the smartphones and iPhones built today have incredibly short battery power. If you’ve accidentally ever left your phone on while walking or forgot to plug it in, then you know what it’s like to wake up to a barely useable phone with no battery left. This is a common problem because of all the apps currently available on the market for Android and iPhone.

However, power banks are a nice and convenient way to make sure that your phone will always have a backup plan. These simple devices work by collecting energy from a resource such as a wall outlet and then they store that energy for later usage. So, if you run out of battery, you can simply plug your phone into the power bank and have an additional backup plan for power. These shouldn’t be treated as a main battery though.

Some of them have unique features such as control chips, light displays and more to let you know when your phone is at max capacity. A lot of livestreamers and vloggers use power banks because they’re out on the road a lot and they don’t know when they’ll get another chance to charge them.

What Should You Look For In A Power Bank?

Generally, power banks really only serve one ultimate purpose, they exist to make sure you have a backup plan in case you don’t have enough power for your phone. However, not all of them are made equal and some of them come with pretty nifty features aside from how long they can be used for.

  • The output power is especially important because this will determine just how much juice is getting to your phone. A power bank with low output power might not be enough to power your phone if you’re using apps or doing things like FaceTime with people.

  • The capacity of the power storage is also something to take into consideration, because if you need something that lasts a long time, you’re going to want to make sure you get something with a lot of storage.

  • Make sure that the power bank is applicable with your mobile device and it’s something that will even work in the first place. If your phone doesn’t have an applicable port for a USB cord and you buy a power bank that solely works on USB cords, you’ve wasted your money.

  • Do you need to charge multiple phones? Some power banks come with multiple ports and outlets for keeping more than one phone connected and giving them power. This is important to check out as every product description will tell you how many phones they support.

Power banks are sought out by a certain group of people. Whether you’re travelling somewhere as a tourist and you don’t know if you’ll have access to power, if you’re going on a hiking trip and you still want to be able to have access to your phone or if you’re someone who livestreams on the internet frequently and you need to make sure you have frequent battery backups, power banks are effective and cheap devices to keep you in touch.

If you only have one device, make sure to look for a power bank that has the highest power capacity and disregard the number of ports. The only complaints we ever found with power banks is when we reviewed power banks with 3 or more USB ports to charge phones and people tried charging all their mobile devices at the same time.

We don’t recommend doing this because even a power bank with 20,000 mAh or more is going to struggle to try and power up three mobile devices at the same time. The reviews are all positive of every power bank we’ve encountered and we hope you’ll enjoy them as much as we did.
